SEA

Stanza 4

This one shall love.

This one shall break.

This one shall hold

the rain.

Filmed almost entirely underwater, SEA follows the story of our relationship with the future children.

The weightlessness and freedom of this terrain delivers a sense of timelessness, where all movement supported by the element of water enters slow-time, so taking us deeper into the experience of DEEP TIME and SLOW CINEMA.

In practice, I kept returning to the importance of ambience and abstract expression as opposed to literalism during this stanza.  SEA lifts us though tenderness, grace and vulnerability as grief becomes transparent enough to reveal the true depth of love hidden within.
